Easy camping stove
This was a fun little camping stove to use. I was able to use the pot it came with to boil water for coffee and for my camping meals in a bag. It’s good for 1-2 people.

Works great. Could use a small fix
You can’t store it with a fuel bottle inside… huge miss in my opinion. But seems high quality and works well

This is a specific piece of gear
Great little set-up for backpacking or traveling super light. Sometimes when I camp I don’t want to get out a stove and cook, but just want to quickly and carefully jet boil some water for coffee, hot chocolate, and reconstituted bagged meals. Having two pot options is really valuable here. And I appreciate the volume markings on the inside of the tall pot.The Piezo ignition is a beautiful thing and this ignites easily, unlike the jet boils of 20 years ago. Don’t be fooled by the Metal Ring for pot cooking, you have to twist the small brackets so they turn inwards. And anyone saying this unit “falls over easily” isn’t setting it up correctly. There is a plastic tri-fold bracket that clips to the bottom of the gas canister and it makes it VERY stable for what this is. You have to be careful and collected when using jet boil systems — they’re small and lightweight and will save you on a backpacking trip. You can use them in a tent, especially in a storm when your options are limited, and I’ve been backpacking when it’s 30 degrees in the morning and we made coffee while while still sitting in our bags. But they’re NOT really for a busy camping situation with a bunch of kids and this as your primary cooking source. This is a targeted piece of gear and takes a steady, serious hand. I would gift this to any serious outdoors person and definitely recommend for serious use.

My new best friend
When I came camping and want to pack lighter, I usually bring a small foldable stove and fuel tabs to boil water. They take a good 10 minutes to boil and not even managing a rolling boil if the weather isn’t on my side. This stove is life changing. With a 100g tank and a medium flame it was able to bring 500ml of water to a full rolling boil in 4m 30s.I see estimates saying a 100g tank should get 20+ boils so wowIt’s easy to setup, just screw on a tank, fit the pot into place, pour water, turn on the gas flow, and hit the ignitor.4 minutes later you got some boiling water! Performance wise this is great! The two small pots and gear, along with a 100g canister is about the same weight as my like of fuel tabs and current (replaced now) system so not heavy if you’re used to anything similar.Everything packs into a single unit and mesh bag, and a space than is around 8 inches tall, not quiet ultralight day pack size but my 30l bag can fit it just fineThe price is great for the quality. The .75ltr pot is much better quality than my cheap silver one, and has a nice coozy to keep from burning your fingers. Even the burners metal shroud and base cools enough to tough it after a boil in less than a minute.I tested using a hot devil iso canister and will do the same for another brand but results will be the same I’m assuming. Fuels is fuel :)Overall if you’re looking for an affordable alternative to the pricey similar looking options I seriously recommend giving this a try! I’m converted from fuel tabs for life. Thanks Hot Devil!

Product is just okay
The camp stove was easy to start. Put together to cook with, it is flimsy and falls over easily. Not fully satisfied with this stove.

Ok for certain situations
I have another backpacking stove I purchased from Amazon that is a bit larger than this one so I am comparing the two.Similarities:- They both weight right around 1.25 lbs with no fuel- They both take about 4 minutes to boil 1L of water- They both use common isobutane canistersWhat I like about this one:- I like the flexibility of having the pot included, even though it is small.- Isobutane can holder held can tightly and felt stable even with 1L of water in the cup.- The igniter worked well and the stove lit on the first click. What I don’t like about this one:- The cup will hold 1L of water, but it fills it right to the top and it will boil over (picture). It is really only good for 750ml. The pot, similarly with hold 500ml if you fill it all the way to the top, but is only really good for 250ml.- When stored, it is trickly to get it to hold a 230g isobutane canister. If you are wonder how, it goes cup, can holder, can, stovetop, lid, stove, pot upside-down. It works, but barely.- The handles, even though they are silicone coated, still did get quite warm. I was still able to handle the cup, but they were noticeably warm.- The plastic lid does strain, but it doesn’t seal on either piece, so you have to hold it and it gets quite hot. My other stove uses a silicone lid that seals on the cup to keep it in place and cooler.SummaryI will be keeping my other stove in my pack as it is more versatile with the large volume and weighs the same. I will keep this one as a backup or for a situation where a need a separate, smaller pot for some reason.
