Excellent quality and configurability
I very much like the comfort and fit of both the straight and bent bars. The ability to switch bar types definitely increases the utility of this product. Set up is not difficult but it takes a little dialing in to get the bars to fit snuggly and smoothly in the weight cradle. I would prefer the bars be about six inches longer (wider) to fit a standard size weight bench or rack to add a little more versatility. One must get used to carrying the bar around with weights pre set- that is, because you can only adjust the weight in the cradle, you cannot change weights on a bench or on a weight rack. That is just one disadvantage to this concept. But, otherwise, you get a lot of options from one set. Adding the 80-120lb option helps further, but at a premium, unfortunately.

Awesome addition to my bowflex.

More Weight!
Can’t go wrong with these added weights, especially with free shipping… I’ve bought at least 2, and have the straight bar maxed at 120lbs with 60lbs on the cambered bar.

Nothing much to say. Serves the purpose great. Easy installation and adds more weight to my barbell.Great product.

Compliments the Bowflex 2080
More than likely going to go past the 80lbs. Might as well get this as well.

Packaging is crap but easy to install
Read the instructions carefully before diving in. It’s simple form there but if you miss a few simple things it complicates things a lot more. My only complaint is the being in shreds when I got it. Bowflex must use better packaging.

Exactly what I needed
Ordered a Bowflex Barbell during the pandemic a couple of years ago. Have been using it frequently and needed the weight upgrade. No issues! To anyone who dislikes having to change weight between the two barbell grips, I’d recommend just adding weight via holding the pin then cycling the weight higher.

Great System, but expansion is ridiculously overpriced
I’ve owned the select tech 1090 dumbbells for a number of years and just recently purchased the 2080 bar set. As with the dumbbells, this is a well constructed piece of equipment and great home gym addition. Unfortunately I believe the upgrade is a necessity and wish it actually could be expanded more. Even on sale the upgrade set is ridiculously overpriced for what it is. This really should be a $50 expansion. I’d like to get the stand as well, but can’t justify an additional $200 for it.

Easy add to core system
This also requires some modification to the base unit but that is clearly spelled out in the instructions. 120 total pounds is plenty for me for light resistance training and PT.
