    Nice little stove

Very nice stove. Well built. Very solid, looks like it would last for years. A little bit on the heavy side, but I wasn’t looking for a lightweight tent stove. If weight isn’t a problem, this stove will do the job.

    Great price, nice stove, incomplete

This sturdy stove comes at a great price. But it lacks a spark arrestor on the top. I added a spark arrestor, 3 carabiners, 3 guy lines and three stakes to my stove and everything fit inside the stove or inside the stove pipes. With this stove, you have three different heat levels for cooking. You can remove the center disk on the top and get the hottest flame. Or you can leave the top sealed for lower heat, or you can fold the two racks over on top of the stove and you can simmer as well. The stove burns great. I used cedar and it didn’t spark and burned the wood pieces all the way to ash. A full wood charge will leave enough embers 2 hours later for you to restoke the fire with a fresh load. The stove is not light, but the shelf turns into a carrying handle that makes it easy to move around. The biggest drawback is that the intake air supply can’t be completely closed so there is no way to stop a fire. I am going to work with the vent and door and see if I can get better sealing.

Very good stove with a few caveats

The media could not be loaded.

It is reliable and the stainless steel wall is not thin. It can take some abuse. The screws on the door handle and the dampers can get loose so good idea to bring a small screw driver. The round removable plate gets warped easily but not enough to cause an opening for large amount of smoke to escape.

    Good stove

Seen complaints of not sealing and letting smoke into tent. Not a problem that I had. Stove has worked great both times I used it (plus 2 times to burn off any chemical). Very happy with this purchase

Well built with two critical flaws

Overall the stove is built very well, except for two tiny details that are critical to proper operation of the unit. The flue damper uses a very thin and brittle spring to provide tension to keep the baffle in place. That spring becomes useless after the first use of the unit. The baffle constantly closed due to the offset weight of it and would smolder the fire. I then tried to dissemble the baffle assembly to add a stronger spring and of course, due to heat, the tiny set screw holding the baffle in place on the rod snapped. Rendering the flue baffle useless. The second issue is the air damper on the front door. It is made of very thin material and warps when the stove is hot. This warp makes it all but impossible to control air at that point. I now have to buy a replacement baffle assembly. Disappointing!!!

    Well made

Smaller than I had hoped but it’s well made, I really think it’s going to heat my 13×13 canvas tent just fine, may need more wood every two hours though.

    Omg bad !

I am an engineer/ gear head/ outdoorsman/ stove fireplace user for 50 years . Here’s the issues : top thin round plate ( why is it even there ?) , plate warps badly when fire 🔥 is active . Warped plate allows copious amounts of air into stove – creating a Rocket stove effect ( you Don’t want that in a tent ! lol . The front thin air control plate warps so that any actual air control / metering is negated . You guessed it ! Creating a rocket stove effect .also causes immediate high level rapid burn of your stoves fuel/wood . Ie a slow burning overnight fire and heat is impossible. Smoke and fumes leak badly from stove top disc cutout as mentioned above . I made my own 3/8 thick steel plates. See photo Glass is I’ll fitting , has no gasket of sorts . Glass allows a 3rd! Source of air rushing into stove !My glass broke because I put a bead of high temp silicone around it . I tried to get a replacement glass from manufacturer/lama. Initially they told me “ it’s on the Amazon warehouse “. ???Not ! I emailed them at least 7-8 more times begging them to help me get replacement glass for a trip camping. Lana Never ever responded to my maybe even 10 emails begging them ! So in 5 minutes I ordered two replacement glass units ( custom cut ) from EBay.I really don’t care, and kinda am not biased, I don’t normally do reviews . However I’m kinda peaved. This little cheapo stove is pretty ineffective, or even counter effective .Note here or there, there’s reviews that identify the technical flaws , that I have . Listen to them .Don’t listen to the “ it’s the greatest stove in history “….. not my experience. Beware

    Good Camping Stove

For what it is, it is very good. I was using this on my property for months straight and it lasted a few months before the bottom started falling apart. So, if you only intend to use this so many times, then it’s great. It’s a pretty solid camping stove. However, if you want something more permanent, you gotta eat the cost and get the cast iron stove.Sorry :/

    Great Stove with Few Flaws

Great sturdy stove, especially given the entry level price. Has held up fine in rain, and 60mph gusts. This stove could potentially compete with the big brand names, if few of the issues are properly addressed.1) stovepipe sections insert “over” the pipe below vs “into” the pipe. This causes creosote build up to leak outside of the pipe, rather than dripping back down into the pipe.2) damper is nearly impossible to make finer adjutments.3) not a flaw, but the stove does not come with spark arrestor. There are ton of other options on Amazon.
