Super lightweight, surprisingly bright! So bright it could light up your whole tent and when in flashlight mode you could see far. It lasted a pretty long time but not as long as I would like. I kept 2 of the lanterns on all night because I have 3 small children and it was dim halfway through the night. Charging was easy but hard to understand when it was fully charged, the red light would not turn off and I had the lanterns on the charger for more than 10hrs. Absolutely perfect for camping and how compact, versatile and easy it was! People were definitely jealous of our lanterns lol *hair flip* Definitely worth the buy and affordable!

First, I just want to thank the seller, because I received the product the day before the day I needed it. I ordered this item to use lighting the basement while cleaning after the flood. And my oh my!!!!! This product did a very good job. I use the flashlight. Very good lighting. Very bright and able to see the whole space of the room, because the bright light not just lighting the space you are pointing it too but the surrounding spaces, as well. What I love the most of this product is very lightweight. Very easy to use. Hold the charge very well. The size isn’t big or bulky, but when you are a small woman with a carpal tunnel…. this is suitable for you. I love how versatile this product is. This has two charging function that is awesome, especially when your there is no electricity. This can be charged under the sun. Though it takes forever to fully charge but hey I take what I can as long as I can use it without waiting for the electricity to comes back. Very small looking lantern, but very very helpful. I am highly recommending this to anyone needs a light helper. And as long as I am ready to send my Balikbayan box to the Philippines, I will be buying some more to send it to my family that are fishermen. Because this is not just good inside the house but is very good for outdoor light and this is a waterproof, so, it is not going to get wet while on the ocean. Which is very helpful for all the fishermen. I will recommend this product, who needs a little bit of light.

Mostly good.
Compact, easy to charge, emits a lot of light. The only negative is the top panel for solar charging is held on by a large piece of tape which I assumed should be removed. Once I took it off, the solar panel doesn’t stay on the flashlight. I ultimately had to tape the panel on with Scotch tape. Less than ideal. I can’t imagine that shipping tape is supposed to stay on, but I don’t see another solution. I don’t plan on solar charging them anyway.Adequate for the camping trip I bought them for.

Amazing for camping!
These lanterns were absolutely amazing! We took them camping and they worked right out of the box, I did not need to charge them at all. We spent 4 nights camping and I have yet to charge them up. I love that they have a lantern option and a flashlight option. The light is very bright and worked so well in the pitch black primitive campsite. I highly recommend these! It’s so cool that you can also solar charge them. So easy to use and a great price!

I had to return this great product because it’s missing one necessary element!
These are one feature from being 5 stars. So why did I drop it to 3? Because the one feature is key if you’re purchasing these for emergency purposes. There is no meter to show the level of charge the lantern has attained. The light turns red when you plug it in and stays red. The instructions specifically call out that there is no way to see how charged it it. That’s a HUGE flaw. Even if you decided to plug them in for 4 hours at the beginning of every month, how can you rely on them in the case of an emergency if you can’t see if they’re charged? And with no external battery option to use as backup, you could be very SOL in a real hurricane or natural disaster. For this reason, I returned them.That said, I love that it’s a lantern and a flashlight. And both worked exactly as expected. Perfectly even. Amazing brightness that lit up a room. The side arms have a click in place lock when not in use which guarantees it won’t accidentally pull open and waste battery. The arms work to easily hang on a branch or hook. Honestly, great design and functionality. It’s that one major element that’s missing in this otherwise great and reasonably priced product. If they fix that battery level reading issue, I’d happily buy them again.(On a side note, I didn’t use the solar charging, so I can’t say if that works.)

Great value just make him waterproof
They got five stars for being four for 20 bucks during prime deal days. Thank you five dollars a pieces an excellent deal for these don’t get those other ones with the strip of LED lights. They’re too bright. This has one nice LED behind a frosted lens and a bonus one at the bottom but now let’s get to the review how to fix the problem if you’re caught in a thunderstorm with this little Latern lampOK, you’re gonna wanna buy a couple of tubes of gorilla silicone RTV you get two tubes here at Amazon. It’s Crystal clear first thing you do is pop off the bottom of the lantern and Schmear about a 1 to 2/8 bead around the middle of that thing you’re gonna glue it on it’ll never need to come off again. If you don’t glue it on it’s gonna fill up with water like a bucket. You’ll also notice under there is a little lens just flopping around you can put a couple dabs of the silicone to hold it in place or just balance it it doesn’t matter you don’t have to put silicone on the clear lens on the bottom water does not come out of the Earth. It comes down from the firmament. OK then the next thing you’re gonna wanna do is take a piece of blue tape that you use for painting and cut a nice little rectangle shape and tape that over the two USB ports. Those will never be used because it’s solar. You could also fill those up with the R TV but the tape allows you to recharge them quickly if you want to access the USB Next you’re going to want to pull the lantern open to gain access and observe the single LED with the frosted lens hiding inside pull your lantern four or 5 inches to the fully erect position now lay a nice bead of cock. The gorilla silicone clear that you just purchased Put a nice one to 2/8 inch speed all the way around the bottom and take your finger and smear that in there so it stays in there that’s the first water intrusion spot from heavy rain next you’re gonna want to turn your lamp upside down and carefully do another bead on the upside down portion of the lens. Yes, water does not shoot out of the earth you are correct, but it could come out sideways so we’re gonna seal this up and then I believe you have completed your waterproofing of your little LED lantern lamps they are ready for Trent downpours hurricanes. They’re great forgiving as gifts. Just give them one at a time you don’t need to give you the whole four pack to somebody keep a couple for yourself. You’re gonna see how cute they are. they’re wonderful, but they’re water Logged if you let them outside a little bit about me when I was in the military in Hawaii I bought a four-wheel-drive truck and we take it to the beach. He was not fast enough so I put extra batteries inside him and sealed him up with the gorilla glue sealant The stuff that’s in your wagon right now so you can seal up these little lanterns then the four-wheel-drive truck could go head on into a wave get knocked over, and if I was lucky enough that he rolled on top of his wheels when he was done being tumbled around in the wave, the silicone glue did not have any water, salt intrusion, and that is the moral of the story. have a great day.PS it has a little porthole button like on a ship. It’s a push button like a rocker switch. Go ahead and fill that up with the ceiling too when the ceiling is dry it’ll be like a little crystal clear waterproof hat on top of the button and you will still press. I will give a video right now to show you how wonderful my lamp is.

Great Value
I bought these for a gift for a friend’s house where they often experience power failures. The solar charging is convenient so that they do not have dead batteries when you need them the most. The lantern feature is bright but can be moderated by sliding the cover down. The flashlight feature is on the “bottom” of the cylinder and is a bright wide beam of light. Others have commented that they are not super-rugged for serious camping and I would have to agree, but for general use they are a great value.
