Great product
This product is awesome, I bought it for my camping and hiking trips, and it saved me from drinking dirty water. It has this RO membrane thing that filters out all the crap in the water. I used it in all kinds of water sources, even a muddy pond, and the water was clear and drinkable. The product is also super handy and easy to use. It’s light, portable, and fits in my backpack easily. It’s simple to use, just pump the water through the filter and drink from the container. The brand is new, but the product is well-made and durable. The price is also fair for what it offers. I’m very happy with this product, I shared it with my friends who also liked it. I recommend it to anyone who needs a water filter, it’s a lifesaver！

Works great, it’s just a little slow.
We bought this for our RV as a back-up for fresh drinking water. I have no doubts that it filtered the water well, and the flavor was fine. It took about 5 minutes to filter enough for one water bottle, so this isn’t something you would want to use for your main source of water. But for hiking, I can see this would be a great option because it’s a lot lighter than lugging around a bunch of water, and then you can easily fill your canteen on the go with safe water. I’m glad we have it, and it has earned its spot in our RV, which says a lot when you consider how space is a premium.

Build your muscles before you use this filter!
I have owned other pumps in the past that were very easy to use. This pump worked, but it took an enormous amount of strength to pump the water. I was so surprised that I took the thing apart twice thinking that I must have left some cardboard packing or something inside the pump. I’ve never had a pump that was so exhausting to use.

Didn’t work for me.
This was impossible to get clean filtered water to come out. Instructions are poorly written and nothing I tried worked which made for an unfortunate situation while backpacking. Returned this product and bought something that’ll work better.

Difficult to figure out and put together
This seems to be a pretty high quality hand pump for the price, but it’s very hard to use and the overall functionality is sub par. It might just be the nature of hand pumps, but since this my first it wasn’t a very good first impression. It also would sometimes leak near the hand pump handle. It is a good backpack size though.

My Trusty Outdoor Water Guardian

Good product, good portable purifier
Last week I went hiking and brought this product with me. I was very satisfied with the experience. It is small and light, easy to carry, and fits easily in my backpack. It is very simple to use, and I can also connect the filter hose to a water bag or a cola bottle. The filtered water is clear and tasteless. I drank river and lake water many times with this filter and did not feel any discomfort. This is indeed a good product.
