    GREAT TRAIL HIKER, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

These boots are a steal at this price. Fit is perfect to my size (10.5) with enough room for a thicker sock. I’ve only worn them for a few days, so can’t comment on longevity, but construction looks top notch and flawless and just as good as name brand boots at 3x the cost or more, so I don’t anticipate them wearing out any time soon. I read some reviews that the insoles were terrible; not true at all, they’re comfortable and pretty cushy compared many boots/shoes I’ve bought, I may buy some upgraded insoles at some point but not necessary at this point. I also read people complaining about longevity when using for work, but these aren’t work boots, they’re meant to be “mild trail hikers/outdoor activity” boots not work boots slogging around in the mud all day long. Very nice “upgraded” laces are the perfect length, and they’ve stayed tied all day long so far. Eyelets all look very sturdy and the tongue fits just right not too long or fat like a lot of boots. I still can’t believe they were less than $50 on sale. Ridiculous!

Great Fit, Solid Support, and Impressive Value

This is my second pair of NORTIV 8 boots, and I’m honestly impressed. I wear these for 8-12 hours a day, 40-60hrs a week. They fit well, are surprisingly comfortable right out of the box, and offer great ankle support. They’ve handled wet conditions without any issues, and cleaning them is quick and easy. For the price, the quality is better than expected—I’ve worn name brands that cost three times as much, and these hold up just as well, if not better. That said, the paint on the metal lace holders started coming off pretty early, and the laces are longer than they need to be, all minor. Also, I found that going a half size down from my normal shoe size gave a better fit. Overall, solid boots I’d definitely recommend.

    Great alternative at Great price.

Fits well on my narrow foot. Sturdy and comfortable. Great for my weak ankles. They don’t breathe as well as i would like, but still a great shoe.

Great quality and comfort for the price!

I bought two pairs of these for my teenage sons for a via ferrata in the Dolomites. I encouraged them to wear them often to break them in but they only took one two-hour hike before our trek. Via Ferrata is a combination of hiking and steep mountain climbing. They hiked 5 days, about 5 hours a day in these boots and had zero foot issues. No blisters or discomfort. They were also impressed with the waterproofing. I’m stunned at the affordability and quality. I’m used to spending at least $200 for hiking boots. Also says made in the USA! Well done.

Good fit, light weight, and comfortable.

For me they are just the ticket. They are light weight and comfortable. For working around the house and yard work they do just fine. I can’t recommend them for heavy work like metal fabrication and welding but I think that’s beyond the scope for what they were intended to do plus they are soft toe. But if you’re looking for work shoes for your average run of the mill stuff you’ll be satisfied. I wear a 10 regular, I ordered a 10 regular and they fit true to form. For the price point I can give a good recommendation on them.

    Best boots ever

These boots are wonderful. I’ve worn them several times on short outdoor activities but yesterday I wore them on an 11 mile hike that had a 4,000 elevation gain. My feet were very comfortable. I had great traction and they held up very well. I’ve never had boots this good and for a very affordable price.

Almost perfect, but noise from adhesive between inner and outer fabric made me return them.

These look great and are extremely comfortable and fit well with plenty of room in the front and generous cushioning on the upper. The insole was relatively stiff, but overall I was very pleased with the fit and feel. I would have kept them but the inner fabric was not adequately bonded to the outer fabric resulting in a crunch crunch sound with each step that was just unacceptable. It seems as though there is enough adhesive to be tacky but not enough to actually adhere so the sound is the inner fabric sticking to the outer and then releasing with each step. I cannot rate them for trail use because I only tried them on and walked around the house; it was obvious that the sound was a showstopper (at least for me); they would have been an incredible value without this problem. Maybe I just received a defective pair.

    You’ll Be Glad You Did!

Everything I want in a hiking boot = lightweight, most definitely waterproof (have had them 6 months and still no wet socks – at all) great tread, fantastic ankle support, high quality boot laces, extremely comfortable. The size 12 1/2 wide – was right on the money. Actually, I have used these as much as a work boot as I have as a hiking boot so, consequently, I have another pair – an exact duplicate of these coming for my Father’s Day present. And to ‘boot it all’ (excuse the pun :-), a spare pair of boot laces came with the boots – a very pleasant surprise! No noticeable wear after six months of daily wear. You’ll love them!!!

    These are very lightweight

I work a security/delivery job so I’m constantly driving and getting in and out of a truck all day and have purchased many different brands of boots over the past 14yrs. Only a few times have I found a pair of boots that were comfortable right out of the box, no break in time. I was very impressed with these. They were light weight, and very comfortable. I usually get mid calf high boots but figure I’d try these ankle high ones they didn’t rub and cause sores on the back of my ankle the padding is quite comfortable, some boots I’ve purchased in the past make a squeaking sound when walking on certain floor types, these we whisper quite and feel very stable. I also purchased some Dr Scholes inserts with the gel cushion. I would highly recommend these if you have to be on your feet for an extended period of time. Can’t comment on how durable they are, only had them for a week so far hopefully they hold up.

    Solid after 3 months

I’ve worn Keen Targhee Boots for several years, but their quality has deteriorated significantly. Last one’s I bought made it less than 6 months before the sole started delaminating. These Boots were purchased just so I would have something to wear while trying to find a different brand. Boots were delivered 04/01/2025 and I began wearing them to work the next day. Retail management on my feet all day walking on concrete floor 5 days a week. Today is 07/23/2025, so my review is based on approximately 16 work weeks (80 days) of wear. There was very little break in period and the boots have remained comfortable. There has been no delamination of the sole and no wear on the shoe from flexing. The only issue (and it’s more of a preference of mine) is I feel like the tongue could be longer. When tied the laces are at the very top of the tongue. I’m satisfied and will definitely purchase again.
