Great quality and performance.
These lanterns are perfect for camping, boating or for one’s emergency “go bag”. They sit securely on a table or may be hung from the built-in handle. We like the various lighting modes, dimmable white, solid and flashing red. Currently owning three, I am ordering three more later today. Rechargeable also!

Camping perfection.
For backpacking? Of course not. But if you car camp or just need some added light on your outdoor adventures, this is the lantern for you.Right out of the box it was easy to charge, and I love the fact that you can change the colors so easily. I don’t believe it’s possible to modify the brightness of the red LED, but the others are simple to adjust.I also appreciate the built-in hooks and how easy it is to hang from the inside of a tent. It’s well built and the price is great compared to others we’ve looked at.

Good lantern
This lantern is a good size (large enough yet small enough), works well so far (new purchase). It has multiple types of lights, & the ability to dim. I like that it’s rechargeable. It will live in my car!

I purchased two of them mainly for power outages.
This is a great rechargeable lantern. It is lightweight and easy to use. Highest setting is ultra bright . While the lowest setting makes a great night light and is not too dim. The lowest setting lasted over 18 hours without recharging. The light on the lowest setting is still pretty bright. No need to buy or mess with batteries they are already installed and I can’t even see where. There are 5 blue indicator lights that flash when it is charging. When fully charged the indicator lights stay steady. Once unplugged and turned on the indicator lights show you the amount of battery life left. I keep mine charged daily because you never know when the power will go out or for how long . You can operate the lantern while charging.

Very viable LED lantern for camping.
The media could not be loaded.
I’ve used propane style lanterns with gas mantles for a long time on my camping trips. I figured by now there has to be something rechargeable with LEDs to rival the propane style. This will work for me. It is very bright and illuminates plenty of area for a campsite. Take a look at the video I attached and you can see how well it lights up my 12′ x 12′ office. It has multiple modes of brightness, and I think even the lower levels of light will work. The manufacturer claims up to 10 hours of light even on high mode. I haven’t tested the longevity so I can’t attest to that. But typically in camping I’m using it for 5-6 hours at night. Then I’ll be charging it with my charging station the next day. It’s a great size, not so small that it feels like it’s not a full blown lantern. It’s obviously versatile and can be used for times of emergency if you need battery powered lights. And it can work as charger for your phone if you need an emergency charge. This is a serious contender for replacing the older propane style camping lanterns, at least the smaller ones that you typically see. I’m glad I bought it and for the price I may pick up another one.

Bright for the size!
I have to start by docking a star because the first unit I received was defective. It came fully-charged, which was nice but, when powered up, the LEDS would flicker and would only achieve what looked to be about 25% brightness. If you gave the lantern a little rap, it would brighten to full brightness for a fraction of a second. All lighting modes were available but were all affected by the defect. I think a connection was loose or there was a bad soldering job on a chip. Luckily, Amazon is fast and easy about making exchanges. So, I’ll review the second unit I received, which appears to work normally:First of all, if you’re like me and haven’t bought a lantern in some time, you’re going to be surprised how small and light they are now. I’ve had white gas, propane, conventional battery and lead-acid rechargeable battery lanterns. Those lanterns often featured glass and metal in the construction and were large and heavy. I had a small candle lantern and a relatively light propane lantern for backpacking, but for car camping or around the house, I’m used to lanterns being heavy. The current class of rechargeable LED lanterns are small and lightweight and easy to dismiss as not going to be bright enough. This lantern stands 8¼ ” tall, 4⅛ ” wide and weighs 26.75ounces (759g). A pleasant surprise is that this small and lightweight lantern has a 7400mAH battery capacity which can both power the lantern and be used to charge other devices (trading off light run time). The all plastic construction feels solid and the USB port is covered with a rubber flap to keep out splashed liquids and dust. There is a threaded and gasketed cover on the bottom of the lantern that can be opened to reveal a small storage area; I put the USB charging cable in there. The “globe” is made from an opaque plastic that reduces glare from the 50 LEDS arranged in a circular pattern at the bottom of the globe. The top third of the globe contains a cone-shaped fresnel lens that helps redirect light that would otherwise be lost hitting the top of the lantern. The lantern has several lighting modes accessed by repeatedly pushing the power button. There’s a cool-colored light, a warmer-colored light, a mix of those two lights, then a red light and a red flashing light. In all non-flashing modes, holding down the power button allows for stepless dimming of the LEDS. It can be a bit tricky at the low end of the light to get the dimming level very low without going all the way to off or, after that point, having it return to full brightness. With some practice, however, it got a bit easier to dim the light down. The lantern is advertised as providing 3,000 lumens of light. Comparing it to my last rechargeable lantern, a Coleman with a lead-acid battery and an 11-watt compact fluorescent light bulb that is rated at 750 lumens when new, I can say that this lantern is significantly brighter, though I have no way to measure if it is actually 3,000 lumens. It’s certainly enough to make usable reading light in a small to mid-sized room. Considering the price, size, and weight of this lantern, though, this is good performance. Of course, run times on LED lanterns are much better than any other fuel/light combination in a small lantern. I’ve not had the time to run this lantern to empty, but it has lasted several hours on high so far without any sign of dimming. While the weight and size of this lantern is probably still too much for multi-day backpacking trips, this is a compact, bright lantern that’s great for things like car camping, power failures, a work light, and taking on short night hikes. With my second, working unit, I’m satisfied with this lantern.

Good lantern!
The lantern lights, a large area about 40 feet in diameter. I found it great to carry walking in the dark and as additional lighting in the garage. The price was reasonable and it has a lot of options.

Great light long lasting.
I left it on to see how long the battery life was.I put it on before going to bed and it was still bright 10 hours later. I finally turned it off before it went died. Really nice product.
