Perfect for tent camping
Great little light. Charges fast with long battery lift. Appreciate the red light feature for nighttime use. Sufficient light for my 10×14 tent. The remote came in handy for late night emergencies. No complaints during my 4 day trip.

Nice little camping light
This is a great product, it has warm and cool light and is dimable. If i could change something, it would be a way to connect the remote to the light. If you lose the remote, you are in trouble. It stays charged pretty long. Last year a tornado hit near us and we were without electricity for 4 nights. This was great to use to take to bathroom or turn on to find something. We didn’t leave it running solid at night though but it was perfect and could be dimmed so not so bright for bathroom trips. I ordered a second one too; one is in the van as there is not a user control light in the back, this works great; it fit in a cup holder; I put it in upside down and use the remote to control it. I think turned on once for the day then remote worked for that day trip. Since it was dimable, it didn’t disturb driver when those in back turned it on also. Then when arriving at destination, it worked as a flashlight too! I added a strap, the braded type with the keychain things on it so I could hook it on place when needed to. Example, it goes on a bathroom hook, it can be hung up also with that strap added. Glad it had a little handle to hook the strap on. Only thing was I didn’t particularly like the orange and would like if neutral color for that handle too but no biggie. Recommended it.

Great Tent Light
Got this for the tent and it is perfect. Battery life is excellent and the little remote is great for when you want to turn the light on as it hangs from the top of the tent without having to get up or reach that far. It has a “sleep” feature that saves battery life. If it isn’t used for about 6 hours you will have to push the main power button on the light itself, but after that the remote buttons work as usual. It does remember the settings after a sleep cycle so that is good. Four light modes, Red, Daylight, Warm, and Cool White. The red is great for those middle of the night moments when you need to find something but don’t want to wake anybody else up. We use one of the Dark Tech tents and they get really dark at night so this little light is perfect to give just enough illumination when needed. It also gets bright enough(it has several stepped brightness settings) to add that little bit of extra light during the day time. Great addition to our Tent Tote kit.

Good Quality and Rated Battery Capacity Better Than Others
This little LED lantern is very similar to many others on Amazon. The biggest difference is that the rated battery capacity of 6400 mAh is definitely better than the others. Does that mean it will last longer on a full charge? In theory, yes, but that assumes that the rating is correct and that the quality of the battery is good. I don’t have the expertise or test equipment to test that, so I just have to trust that the manufacturer is honest and of decent quality.Despite my uncertainty about the battery claims, I still recommend this lantern compared to other similar models on Amazon. Below are my opinions about some of the pros and cons of this particular lantern.PROS:• Seems like a solidly built lantern when holding it. Just the right size to easily carry around and light your way around a dark area.• IP65 rating, making it good for outdoor use (again, assuming the manufacturer is being accurate, as I haven’t tested this)• Came with good instruction manual, with nice, understandable diagram for changing modes.• Light output seems good. The difference between low, medium and high settings is obvious. I think that for the size of this little lantern, the light output is very good.• Built-in, foldable hook is convenient, especially outside or in a tent.• Power button is relatively big and easy to operate.• The large battery should last longer than other models, assuming it’s rating is accurate.• This is a “who cares?” pro, but I like the packaging it came in.• It comes with a short USB charging cable. Yes, you probably have quite a few around already, but it’s still nice that the manufacturer provides it. (It doesn’t come with a wall charger, though. This is also a pro, because it keeps the cost down. Just use any USB wall charger you already have that charges the dozen phones and speakers and portable batteries that you already have.)MAIN CON:This con applies to seemingly every LED lantern and flashlight out there today, so this con shouldn’t prevent you from buying this lantern: the inconvenience and learning curve of the on/off, brightness, and mode settings using the one-button design. On this lantern, you must press and hold the power switch to turn the light on or off. Once on, you single press to cycle through the brightness levels/modes (medium, low, high, stupid strobe, stupid SOS). If you single press when the lantern is off, this just activates the battery level indicator.I suppose this is nice if you often carry this in a tightly packed backpack or something, as maybe the long-press to turn on the lantern will prevent accidentally turning it on. But for practical, everyday use, this is a counter-intuitive design. I bought this for my mom’s house, in case of power outages. She’s 88, and although she can still do basic mechanical things, like use the remote to turn on the TV and change channels, as she’s gotten older her ability to perform once normal tasks is diminishing. I don’t think that she would know to hold down the power button for 2 seconds to make it power on/off. I’ve shown it to her but she’ll likely forget. At the same time as buying this, I also bought a full-size LED lantern. That one has it’s own magical logic for using the single power button, but at least it only requires a single, normal click of the button to turn it on.I understand that the idea of the single, multi-use button is for cost savings and perhaps improved reliability due to removing additional controls, and some might argue that it adds to the simplicity of operation. However, I disagree. Having a separate switch to control the lighting mode, distinct from the on/off switch, would make this much easier for many people, especially elderly, to operate. Also, since it seems that each manufacturer uses a different logic chip to operate the light, each light has it’s own method of operation, making it even more confusing. Now, I admit that this isn’t the most complicated system in the world to learn, but this is also just a light. I think that the complexity of operation shouldn’t exceed the complexity of function.OTHER CONS (all minor):• The last mode setting used (brightness level, flashing, color) is not remembered when turning off the lantern. When turning the lantern back on, it reverts to medium white light. This is pretty minor, but I’d prefer a memory.• The mode sequence is also a little odd, starting at medium, then low, then brightest. I’d prefer low, medium, high, and then back to low.• It has the useless flashing modes. Yes, this is just personal opinion, but how many people actually use strobe and SOS? They’re just an annoyance to have to cycle through.NEUTRAL:• It has built-in magnets, but they aren’t very strong. Well, they are probably strong enough for many scenarios, but the lamp too easily slid when placed on the side of a refrigerator with a black coating on it. It would probably do much better on a car hood.• It can charge other devices. I’m tempted to put this as a con. Please, don’t buy this over another product just because it has this feature (though all the models seems to have it). This is an LED lantern, not your phone charger. If you’re using this while out camping, first, turn off your phone. Second, if you must have your phone, buy a dedicated portable battery charger.

Excellent for camping!
The dome light is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and bright enough to illuminate an 8 person tent or the table at a campsite. It has a retractable hook to hang from tent, carabiner, backpack, etc. The remote is genius for camping, allowing you to turn it on/off without standing up – a nice treat when sleeping on the hard ground! The remote also gives you the option to change the modes of light and to dim/brighten the light. I haven’t used the battery charging option yet so I don’t know how well it works and whether using it depletes the battery life from the light itself. We used it for two nights during the summer so we didn’t truly test its battery life but it appeared to hold up well for a total of 2-3 hours of use without any dimming. The is an excellent light and will be used for future camping and backpacking trips.Tip: attach a small caliber to the remote to hang close by when it’s not attached to the light, otherwise it’s si small it could easily get lost.

Light weight and Durable
The Sinvitron LED Camping Lantern was perfect for our trip. It lit up the entire tent with bright, even light, making it easy to see and move around at night. The battery life was excellent and lasted the whole trip without needing a recharge. It’s lightweight, easy to pack, and durable enough for camping. Definitely a reliable lantern I’ll be bringing on all future adventures.

Nice camping hammock lantern
I was looking for a small lantern that would easily clip onto a hammock ridgeline and it had to have a neutral or warm white tint. This lantern meets those needs and then some. The low setting provides plenty of light inside a hammock shelter and with the rechargeable battery capacity, can last several hours between charges. The dimming feature is a nice touch and at the higher levels provides plenty of light for a campsite. With the diffused Lense the light is spread evenly with no obvious hotspots. After reading the reviews, there does seem to be some variations in the features. Mine has the USB-C charge port and a steady burning red light. The SOS feature is accessed by pressing both the +/- buttons at the same time when using the red light and not a part of the regular Mode cycle. Nice that it is hidden away but there if you should need it. A nice lantern with useful features at a good price. Would buy again.

$17.00 deal. Smart user-friendly design distinguishes this lamp.
Review for Sinvitron C5-P (aka C5 Plus) in Neon Green, purchased 10/24/24.PRICE PAID: $17.00 + tax.(Originally $18.89, w/10% coupon)SUMMARY: On sale, this light is a reasonable value with smart usability features that more camp lamps should adopt. There are many similar camp lamps and I recommend comparison shopping, esp with respect to battery capacity and runtime, for which this model also ranks highly.A mystery quality issue is how my green input port cover went missing. It shouldn’t have been able to just fall out, unless it had a broken or defective tether. I’d only recharged 3-4 times and was cautious with replacing the port cover. It had been outdoors, on the corner of my steel back door, for a handful of days with a dim warm light. Am I to think a bird or an animal made off with it? I’ve written to ask if they can replace the port cover, but they have not yet replied. This particular light has an unusually SMART IMPLEMENTATION that avoids several annoying useability issues common in push button “camping lamps”. Honestly, the Sinvitron C5-P, exceeded my expectations, though perhaps the competitors have improved likewise.CLEVER USABILITY FEATURES:1. NO FLASHING AS YOU CYCLE THRU the FOUR COLORS: three whites and red. (They call these ‘modes’.) Instead, a special two-button click is required to activate the little-needed Red SOS.2. FEWER MODES => FEWER CLICKS to cycle thru. The C5-P’s four-color cycle is shorter than most. Many camp lamps cycle through 5-7 modes, which gets tiresome.3. TURN ON/OFF WITHOUT CYCLING THROUGH ALL THE MODES. It’s a long press for on or off, from any mode. You return to the last color/mode used, when you turn on the lamp again.4. SEPARATE DIMNESS LEVEL FOR EACH COLOR is REMEMBERED, even after powering Off / On. Wow!5. EASIER TO FIND THE MAIN BUTTON. It’s bigger, a different shape, and not directly in line with the secondary buttons. Some competitors lamps have three round grey buttons in a row, all the same size. I dislike my fans that have three identical buttons in a row on the back. I’m constantly turning on the light when I want to cycle the fan speed; it’s annoying.6. The C5-P RED mode is a great implementation of a night light, to leave on the picnic table at camp, or inside the camper van. The Red “Night-Vision mode” is uniquely good, partly due to the stepless dimming of a broad range of illumination. But it also just looks attractive, a modest mellow disc of red that puts out a surprising amount of usable light for navigating camp, or reading fine print.7. Flipping the lamp over (globe down) is a legitimate lighting option, one step dimmer than the dimmest setting, still allowing me to navigate inside a camper van at midnight.OTHER GOOD IMPRESSIONS:The mellow frosted disc of light is more attractive than I’d given the lamp credit for, as tabletop or mood lighting.Customer service was very prompt to respond, and handled my first inquiry perfectly. A few weeks later, I contacted them about a replacement input port cover, and they are not responding as promptly in this case. The C5-P meets my other minimum requirements.- Battery size > 5000 mAh, with super long run times on the lowest settings.- 5V/2A Type-C Input port for fast recharging,- IP65,- Magnetic attachment,- Compact tidy sturdy design,- 360 degree area lighting,- Respectable brightness for a room or porch.- Acceptable price when on sale.FOR THE ABOVE REASONS, YOU CAN’T GO WRONG WITH THE C5-PI can’t say whether or not the look-alike camp lamps with similar plastic hooks share the improved usability features. I can say: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE C5-P.P.S. My ‘extra’ 10% off reflects their ‘mistake’, my query, and EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.Additional pontification below:GOOD VALUE: The right price for this lamp (and it’s whole class) is $15 retail, with sale prices below that, in my humble opinion. That said, I got an excellent deal, given today’s market, and this lamp likely out-classes most look-alikes.GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE: They promptly replied to my query via Amazon vender support channel. As it happens, the company did not intend to offer two separate 10% discounts, according to customer service. When I explained that their manner of displaying two distinctly selectable coupons, meant that coupons should be stacked, according to typical Amazon usage, they provided me a prompt refund of the extra 10% that had not been applied to my initial order.COMPARISON SHOPPING: WHY DID I CHOOSE THE C5-P?- PRICE VS. RUNTME (BATTERY SIZE): I routinely shop sales of small rechargeable lights with extra large batteries/runtimes. I don’t want the extra overhead of recharging smaller batteries twice as often, because I already have so many devices in rotation. I also have many scenarios where I run portable lamps/fans on their lowest setting for hours, even days; thus, the LONG ‘DIM’ RUNTIME was an IMPORTANT PURCHASE CRITERIA FOR ME. (More powerful lamps may have bigger batteries, but shorter max runtimes.)’IDENTICAL’ COMPETITORS:There are a ton of lamps out there in this price range and class, many seemingly identical, varying in battery capacity.Prior to this, I had never bought a lamp of this particular style, because I thought the plastic hook looked cheap and dorky, which colored my overall impression, even though I don’t anticipate using the hook much. I expected this lamp to be okay, but perhaps low end with the typical shortcomings have a cheap mass market item. I will say this lamp is a cut above given its very smart usability improvement.I decided to purchase this lamp at about the $16 price point, which seemed fair for the battery size and run time for this form factor.

Really Bright and Lightweight.
I really like this light. I use it at night at home so I don’t accidentally leave lights on all night any where near as much as I used to. It’s definitely bright enough, and I love the various settings. My only problem is I can’t seem to get the remote to work.
