Nice sleeping bag. Very warm.
I got the -25⁰ rated sleeping bag. It is very thick and feels like a quality bag. The zipper worked fine, and it is very roomy. The interior fabric is very soft & comfortable. It is a heavy bag weight wise, but that is expected for a bit less expensive sleeping for such a cold rating. It isn’t very good for warmer temperatures above freezing, as you will sleep too hot & sweat in it. The materials & quality of assembly of the two I purchased is really good. The stuff bags they are in work great. Though a little tough to get the bags stuffed into, it takes a bit of arm strength.I am very happy with them both, and they work great for what I need them for. I think they are worth the price & the quality is good. They might mot be so good for someone wanting to take them hiking long distances, as the -25⁰ bag weighs about 10lbs and it is pretty bulky even in the stuff carrying bag. If you are looking for a hiking sleeping bag, you might want to pay more for a lighter bag that compresses down more than this. But overall, a bag rated for such low temps, and NOT having any down feathers in it, the weight & bulkyness isn’t bad at all. It is well worth the money in my opinion.

Plenty big for 6′, 290lbs and plenty warm for midwest winter camping
I am a large guy, 6′ 290lbs, and normal sleeping bags are too small for me. I bought the XL -25F bag with the hope that it would meet these four requirements:1) Be large enough to turn my body over inside the bag (without turning over the bag itself).2) Sleep comfortably with my entire body inside the bag, including my arms.3) Be warm enough to sleep in a tent at 0F +4) Be small/light enough to attach to a backpackUnfortunately, I think the sleeping back is too bulky and heavy for any serious backpacking trip. But after using this bag for a while, I’ve come to realization that’s not the fault of this bag – that’s more a matter of me not being able to fit in a normal size bag. I think it’s unrealistic to expect a manufacturer to make a sleeping big enough to fit me in comfortably and also make it light and warm enough for backpacking in really cold weather.Once I accepted that reality, I came to appreciate even more how well this bag meets the other three requirements. It’s plenty big for me. I can flip my entire body over inside of it without taking my arms out and avoid getting the bag and my clothes all twisted up. It’s long enough to fit my entire body inside the bag including my head, with the hood comfortably flipped up over my head all night for extra warmth if I want. The hood and can be tightened up to further seal off the inside.I’ve slept in this sleeping bag in about 15F in a tent in sweats, a sweatshirt and a hat and socks, and I was perfectly comfortable all night. My feet did not get cold. I felt like I could go colder than that without any trouble.Another thing that might not be emphasized as much is the quality. This is a very high quality bag. I didn’t find any loose threads. The zippers are super smooth and large, easily zipped/unzipped with one hand. The zipper does get bound up pretty easily, but that’s simply because there’s a lot of material – which is necessary, given the temperature rating of this bag. The ripstop material is super smooth and slides around very easily, making it simple to move it around inside a tent from inside or outside the bag. The straps on the compression sack are very strong and so are the buckles. And the compression bag is large enough to make the job of stuffing it back pretty manageable. It seems like it would be really easy to cinch down the straps so tight that the seams rip, so I am pretty conscious about how much I tighten them to avoid that. This sleeping bag is really excellent for a winter camper enthusiast like me with a large body. Once I let go of the idea that I could take it on a backpacking trip, I have been super happy I bought it. It’s has really been a terrific investment and opened up an entirely new season of camping for me. I couldn’t recommend any higher.

Warm, comfy, bulky and VERY great value sleeping bag.
For the price, this is an amazing bag (for car camping). This is a very generous sized bag! I have a couple of higher performance Mountain Hardwear bags, but I’m not looking to hike my way into sub-freezing camping conditions. I have a MH Pinole 20 degree bag that’s about as ambitious as I tend to get on the packing side of things. That bag packs into my Gregory Palisades like a champ. But I like camping when it’s snowing and that’s where this bag comes in. If it’s cold, this is good enough enough. If it’s wet and snowing and I’m in the mountains, I can stick my mummy bag inside of this TETON and be *comfortable* below zero. When I say comfortable, I mean this bag has tons of space for most weather conditions and when it’s subzero I can get a “high performance” bag inside it and be just as comfortable as the mummy bag with the extra insulation.NOTE: A few reviews mention this bag being hard to pack. Ok, so it’s bulky and not a normal hiking bag. But for car camping in the cold it’s awesome! A few reviews mention it being hard to pack back into the stuff sack. If you fold this bag into thirds (so that it’s really skinny) and take your time letting out air, this bag easily goes back into the stuff sack. The sack has compression straps that make this bulky, cold-weather bag easy to pack away. Just take your time letting out the air and don’t expect it to be a $400+ winter bag for stuffing into a backpack and hiking. For the money, this is an awesome value and very comfortable when it gets cold but you still want to camp. I call it my car camping nest!

The great product for what you pay for.
I bought this sleeping bag because typically when I go camping it can get pretty cold at night around the ’30s. My old sleeping bag definitely would be cold at that temperature. I decided to get a zero degree bag and this had a lot of great features. I like the drawstring that brings the opening of the sleeping bag around your head. I’m 6 ft and I have enough room to move around on the inside. Also there’s a little pocket for like a headlamp that you can put it in and it has velcro. Also at the top where the zipper zips up there is velcro that holds the sleeping bag closed so when you move around it doesn’t automatically unzip. Also this is a double zipper. So you can open up the bottom of the sleeping bag for some air flow if you get too hot. I did notice overnight that it got a little moist on the inside of the sleeping bag. I suppose you can’t avoid that, but I was definitely warm and not cold. I plan to do winter camping and look forward to putting this to the test. And yes the zipper does get caught in the fabric but I knew that going in from other reviews. It seems to be a good product for the price.

Warm, cozy, large, great quality.
I used to have one of those $250 cold weather mummy bags bought at REI. I hated it that bag, it was so uncomfortable, I’d wake up in the middle of the night and want to scream because I was cold with a slick, slippery nylon bag twisted around me like I was wrapped in saran wrap.I love this sleeping bag, it’s very warm and cozy; nice and large. The quality is outstanding. I’ve used this sleeping bag for 3 years and counting. I do a lot of off-season, cold weather and winter camping. I’m more comfortable in this sleeping bag than I am at home in my own bed when it’s cold outside. (I also use a TETON XXL cot and a 4″ high density foam pad.) It is the warmest bag I’ve ever owned. If it’s above 45F, I usually end up opening it up to let cold air in because it is really, really warm and I have a naturally high body temperature. It’s really large, I don’t feel like I’m in a sleeping bag inside of it. And I don’t slide around in it like those slippery bags, and it doesn’t twist up around your body. It’s got a “hood” that you can drawstring closed for really cold nights. I have never, every been cold in this bag, and I’ve camped at -5F. I don’t know if it’s truly warm at -25F, but I literally would bet my life on it that it is still warm inside of it when the outside temp is -25F. (In case you don’t know, the key to staying warm in a sleeping bag is to NOT wear layers of clothing. Just wearing your long john underwear. Unless you have a crappy sleeping bag… then you’re going to be miserable no matter what you wear.)I haven’t washed it yet, from what I understand you can hand wash and air dry, but check the TETON website to be sure. Use a sleeping bag liner (can make your own out of a cotton sheet) to keep it from getting dirty.I do not use this sleeping bag in the summer, it’s too warm. I have a lightweight summer bag for summer camping.

Best sleeping bag ever! Don’t have a cold night again!
This is an incredible sleeping bag! I just retired my first one, which I had for years, and used daily while traveling far and wide (the sleeping bag just got too dirty from overuse in the outdoors). Amazingly durable and thick, this sleeping bag is roomy, does not smell like chemicals, has a great zipper, is very soft and has lots of poofy padding. It kept me warm on the coldest of nights in negative temp winters, and by unzipping it, and using as a “burrito blanket” was nicely cool in the summer. It is so thick, you can even use it as a mattress pad for extra cushion in various circumstances.I am in love with these sleeping bags, and Teton is by far the best brand of sleeping bag I have encountered to date. They parallel and exceed in quality the thick, super warm, rugged and durable vintage sleeping bags I remember from camping trips as a kid. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! EXTREMELY WARM + high quality materials. The bag is water resistant, though not waterproof, so perhaps get a tent or tarp. i am drifting off to sleep in my Teton sleeping bag as I write this review… Goodnight! Zzzzz…

Perfect for cold weather. Warm and heavy
Heavy and warm sleeping bag. Washes well even it gets smelly. Large size so you can wrap the head part over your head. Thick and fluffy to add comfort and have some material to put between legs or between arms. Great quality and functioning zipper that doesn’t break. Heavy but I like em like that

No cinch straps!! Edit: A great sleeping bag!
Just received sleeping bag as it is rated for colder weather than what I currently own. Will be using it this weekend so I took it out if the bag check the fabric and the zipper and everything seems pretty solid for the price. Definitely decent quality. ..However, there are no cinch straps stitched into the bag or even included separately like ever other sleeping bag I’ve ever used or owned since the 80s!! I tried desperately to roll it back up and slide it into the sleeve it came with. That sleeve is a compression sack in and of itself which is useful only if I can ge the bag back inside. My son and I tried on it our efforts were futile. Now I need to use some of my 1” ratchet straps to squeeze it together because someone in the design department dropped the ball. Irritated and frustrated despite the otherwise good looking appearance and nice appearing quality.Edit: The sleeping bag system is great for what it’s meant for, cold weather family camping. After I reviewed it I went online and found videos of how to store it, you just stuff it into the sack starting from the bottom. I’ve camping with it about 10 nights since I’ve had it, in 35-45 degree weather and I was more than warm! I’d unzip it occasionally and swing a leg out to cool off. You won’t be hiking any trails with it because it’s much too heavy and bulky but you’ll stay warm at a campground for sure.

Good sleeping bag.
I like this bag so far. Used it several times in 30-degree weather. It has good loft, and I used a poncho liner inside on the coldest nights. I’m 5’10, 220 lbs. I read a LOT of reviews before purchasing this bag. Large enough for me. I’m satisfied.
