Great product and excellent customer service
We purchased two of these filtration bottles for travel in Thailand and Cambodia. Both did an excellent job filtering regular tap water and gave us peace of mind knowing we had easy access to water sources. The first bottle came with an older lid style that ended up leaking when laid on its side in our backpack in an overhead plane cabin. When we got back to the US we reached out to the company, and they were awesome about sending us a replacement. The customer service representative Paul was super responsive and promptly addressed our issue. Definitely recommend this for travel in areas where water sources are less secure.

Great for international travel!
I used this filter for a 10 day trip to India. I drank nothing but tap water filtered through the bottle for the entire 10 days and never had a problem with any sort of illness. I loved not having to use single use plastic bottles and knowing my water was safe. I can not recommend this bottle enough. It does require some squeezing to get the water flowing, but I would just use it to fill my Nalgene bottle.

Water-making on the river
This bottle makes it possible to dip into any fresh water source, then drink the water as it is filtered. I took this in my kayak on the Colorado River last weekend. I filled it twice and drank the water immediately. It takes quite a bit of suction to get the water through the filter, but the result is clean, clear water in abundance.I’m impressed with this bottle. Whenever I am on a fresh water river or lake I will have it with me (it does not work with salt water).

Does not seal properly
No matter how many times I re-seated the lid or tightened it, the water almost always comes out the closure opening or the sides when squeezed into another bottle. The gaskets look fine. I squeeze slowly. I give up on this product.

Outstanding customer service
I bought the Water To Go Water Purifier bottle for a 100-mile hike less than a year ago. It worked perfectly then, and continued to work perfectly on my hiking trips until recently when I flipped open the lid and it broke apart. I was so upset! Then I contacted Water To Go and they said “No problem! We’ll send you a new lid immediately.” I received the new lid within a few days. I was SUPER IMPRESSED with the attention they gave me.

Better than expected
I was surprised by the material when I got this. I thought it was going to be a rigid container, but it’s a nice soft container (which now makes sense since you need to squeeze it to make it work). It seems extremely durable and is light weight. I almost wish now I got the larger one, but I’m thinking the smaller one will be better for travel and carrying along, etc.I didn’t get to actually try it with dirty water though, so I can’t speak to the functionality.

Smaller than anticipated –
Don’t expect the water to flow freely when you suck it through the mouthpiece.
I like the filter making it possible to get a lot of water in and not taking up much space.I wish there was a way to squeeze the water out easier for use in a cup for coffee.I do feel comfortable with the knowledge the water is being purified and not just filtered.
